Five lakes and a deep-water navigable river within 5 miles of Dunes City, make this home to some of the best bass, perch, salmon and trout fishing anywhere in the world. The City surrounds the better part of two large lakes, Woahink and Siltcoos.

Woahink Lake is largely a spring-fed, deep water lake that is great for sailing and fishing. Siltcoos Lake is the largest lake on the Oregon Coast at 3200 acres and is famous for trophy game fish and the varieties of fish available. Two state records are held at Siltcoos Lake - Coho Salmon (25# 5.25oz) and coastal cutthroat trout (6# 4oz).

The recently completed Siltcoos River Canoe Trail provides Class 1 kayaking and some of the most breathtaking scenery anywhere. It's quickly becoming one of the favorite places for visitors who enjoy the outdoors. You won't want to miss this one.
